Her Story

Science. Strength. Confidence.

Kaleigh Munson is an Exercise Physiologist, Strength & Conditioning Coach, and Athlete Development Specialist dedicated to helping gymnasts and athletes unlock their highest potential. With a unique combination of scientific education, competitive athletic experience, and hands-on coaching, she is passionate about developing complete athletes who perform with confidence both in competition and in life.

A former competitive gymnast, Kaleigh understands firsthand the discipline, resilience, and commitment required to excel in one of the world's most demanding sports. That experience sparked a lifelong passion for athletic performance, movement quality, injury prevention, and long-term athlete development.

Kaleigh earned her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology from East Carolina University, where she worked alongside the ECU Athletics Strength & Conditioning staff, helping collegiate athletes maximize performance through evidence-based training. Her experience also includes coaching gymnastics, serving as a CrossFit coach, and working as a Certified Personal Trainer, giving her the ability to develop athletes across a wide variety of ages, skill levels, and competitive backgrounds.

Currently pursuing her Master's degree in Exercise at the University of Cincinnati, Kaleigh continues expanding her expertise while helping athletes build strength, improve mobility, increase confidence, and perform at their highest level.

At 180 Elite Performance™, Kaleigh leads the Gymnastics Division with a holistic approach that goes beyond physical training. She is committed to developing technically skilled, mentally resilient, and character-driven athletes prepared to succeed both on the competition floor and beyond.
